I saw a purple Dog

kiss a purple Cat

now u racist individuals

what U say to that?

I saw a White Dog

nursing a few Black Cats

then I saw a pink fellow

stand up and take the bat.

he swung for the fence

and made me see

that loving one another

regardless of color

was the way I wanted to be

I saw a Man who was told that he was white

and I said to him

U r merely a lighter shade of my darkness

and I a darker shade of your light

telling him that we do not have color

at least not on our skin

there fore making me and him

in some shape form or fashion

nuthin less than kin..........
